I am a student at South Hornby Primary School. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Week 1: Day 2 - Forest Life - Activity 1: Giants Among Us
Thinking what are trees got to do about giants among us then I read more and then read about Tane Mahuta. Then I found out what the trees where about. I would like to go see Tane Mahuta because I love learning about trees and nature.

Kia ora Nirvana,
ReplyDeleteIt's great to hear that you did a little bit of your own research. I really like learning about our natural environment too - I find it super interesting. If you went to visit Tāne Mahuta, who would you take with you? I'm from Northland and even I haven't been to see him! I would really like to though, and soon. I read not too long ago that Tāne Mahuta may be infected with kauri dieback disease within the year! It would be very sad if that were too happen. Let's hope they're able to spread the disease spreading before it reaches him.
Blog ya later!
Mikey :)
