I really enjoyed reading your letter about your class trip to the tundra. You've used lots of personal voice which makes it feel like you're having a conversation with the reader. I particularly like the way you've described the landscape ("a frosty desert"). If you were given the opportunity, would you travel to the tundra in real life? I'm not a very big fan of the cold so I'm not sure that I would want to go. It does look quite beautiful though.
