Because of Walter

For about three week one of Miss Williamson reading groups. I read the book "Because of Walter" It's a book about an orphan. Kaysha (The Main character) gets adopted then something goes wrong. The family that adopted her have a girl name Victoria.  Victoria is really mean to Kayhsa and gets her in trouble a lot. But at the end they safe a whale together, Victoria and Kaysha become great friends.

Describing Kaysha

Yesterday one of Miss Williamson's reading group read a story called "Because of Walter"  It is about a girl named Kaysha and she is a orphan and when she thinks she is going to be adopted she gets moved. at the end she lives happily and saves some whale.



I had to fill in a sheet about the character and this is my one. Hope you find to enjoyably....

Comparing and Similarities

For reading Pango (BLACK) we had to do a sheet about comparing and similarities. We had to choose a famous astronaut. I choose Sally Ride, I had to do Mary Jackson too. They both had different thing to do with them and it was really fun learning about them. I found it easy to write the things down and found it hard to found out facts about them. Here is my work.

Pigeon Impossible

Today I watched a sort about a pigeon that try's to sell a something from Walter someone who lives in Washington D.C the pigeon got into the his beathcase and start pressing buttons.

Reading ( Battle of Words)

For the last two weeks we have been reading a story called Battle of Words.
The story is about a family moves next door to a woman named C.V Molesworth.
P.S McGinnity (The main character) just had a birthday and was out going for a skate with her new skates and was really exited about it (By the way when shes exited she can't feel any thing) and accidental hit C.V Molesworth and C.V Molesworth drooped some milk she bring home that day to make herself some coffee.

I think you should read this book because its funny but different as will.
I would rate this book a 4.5 out of 5 but it nice to read.

We use activities sheets to help us understand about the character or story better.

I think you should read this book in you own time I enjoyed it I hope you will to.

Understating Song Lyrics art 2

In Literacy we have been leaning about understanding the meaning of song lyrics. We listened to a songs, it is called Stand by Me - Ben E king

We then looked at the lyrics and that what they meant.

Maui

In literary we have been learning about character Maui. We looked at the story The Fish of Maui this is about four bother that going fishing I'll let me slide show you.   BYE

Tallulah the Tuesday Fairy

This is the book I read

This week we went to the library and I got the book  Tallulah the Tuesday Fairy and here is want I think about it.

It's a great story about two girls and there fairy friends they help out. It's sports day at Tippington School and no one is having fun at all. Kirsty and Rachel had to help Tallulah find her flag so that everyone can be happy again. Tallulah had said to the girls what color and what it looked like. "Its cray  and it had a big shining sun on it." Tallulah said. So that girls and Tallulah went looking for it and so there they where and there was the flag hanging with all the butting... But just then the two goblins coming there way they had found the flag to they where closer to it then the girls. The goblins got the flag and ran into a class room and then hid under some sacks and had some of the flag suck out. Kirsty then had a plan Tallulah used her magic and tie a skipping rope around the goblins legs. Rachel grabbed the flag and ran. Tallulah flew back home and got the magic the came back and made the day fun again.

Willow the Wednesday fairy

This week we went to the library and I got the book  Willow the Wednesday Fairy and here is want I think about it.

Kirsty and Rachel wore at the art and craft fun day at the community center. They were having so much fun when they where making their bracelets. A little fairy was inside a little box. her fairy dust lend the girls to her. The girls had to follow a trail of golden glitter to the flag. BUT they found out that Willow's flag had got into a pile of fabric and the flag was in there and sadly it got cut up. Two of the goblins have got a piece of the flag and stuff they found around the craft stalls. Lucky Kristy had a idea. The idea work they had to distract the goblins with a orangery butterfly. Rachel;l got the piece of the flag and then they ran to find the next one. They found the next piece on the floor under a table. With a little fairy magic the flag was back together.

Understating Song Lyrics

In Literacy we have been leaning about understanding the meaning of song lyrics. We listened to two songs, they were called Treasure by Bruno Mars and Man in the Mirror By Michel Jackson.

We discussed and brainstormed the song title meanings. We then looked at the lyrics and that what they meant.
Treasure by Bruno Mars is about girl he thought was special and Man in the Mirror By Michel Jackson is about him trying to make a change in the world.

Thea The Thursday Fairy

This week we went to the library and I got the book Thea The Thursday Fairy and here is want I think about it.


The story it self is amazing and I love it.

Rachel and Kirsty are the best of friends and today their where at the Morristown Aquarium in Tippington Town. And the amazing thing about them is they have friends that we don't and this friends are fairies and today their are going to meet Thea The Thursday Fairy.


Thea needs help to find her Thursday flag but Rachel, Kirsty and her are not the only ones looking fro it Jack Frost and his goblins are looking for the flag and Jack Frost is making trouble all the time. The goblins want the fun to them self so much they swam with the sharks!

This week we went to the library and I got the book EJ12 Jump Start and here is want I think about it.

The story it self is amazing and I love it.

 A evil agency SHADOW is up to no good in the rain forest. Something that could see them get the jump on SHINE.

Special agent EJ12 needs to creak codes from SHADOW, trust her instincts and get the job done right. Saving animals is a talent.

The Twits-Roald Dahl

This week we when to the library and I picked a book called The Twits.  I am going to tell you all about this book and when I think of it. Hope you enjoy.

The story it self is amazing and I love it.


Well the twits are not nice people and don't smell, look or act nice too. They are joke makers and fight makers too. They play tricks on each other and NEVER EVER wash them self. They have monkeys and cages. The monkeys play tricks on The Twits to. Like sicking things on the roof.

In learning I have been learning about Chinese New Year  and I found out information about why ( how, where, who and when) people celebrate The Chinese New Year.
